Work days & holidays
Tick the days your crew works. Shifts, the calendar and job lengths skip the rest.
Bulk shifts jump over federal holidays, jobs can't be dropped on them, and the calendar marks them — same as days off.
JobNerve waits 15 minutes after your last change, then sends each customer one email - "you're on the schedule" the first time, their new date after that - so moving things around doesn't flood them. Moved back to the same day? Nothing is sent. Only customers with an email on file; never for finished or cancelled jobs. It comes from your connected email, or from JobNerve with replies going to you. Each one is noted on the job.
Job checklist
Things your crew should do on every job, like calling in 811 or bringing safety cones. They tick them off on the job, with a note if needed (a ticket number). Leave it off if you don't need it.

Time Machine
Put the calendar back the way it was. Saved every 30 minutes and right before every shift; the last 2 hours are kept. Only job dates go back. Invoices, payments and estimates are never touched.

Sales tax
Most fence and deck installers don't charge sales tax on a job. You already paid it when you bought the materials. If that's you, leave this empty — nothing about tax will show up anywhere.
If you do charge it, put your rate in below. Then on each estimate you'll get a Tax box next to every line, so you can charge it on materials and not on labor.
Not sure? Ask whoever does your taxes. It's a two-minute question and the answer doesn't change often.
Estimate expiration
Sets the default expiration date on every new estimate. You can still change the date on each estimate.
Terms & conditions
Your customer sees these at the bottom of every estimate and agrees to them when they approve it online. Each approved estimate keeps the exact version that was agreed to, so editing here never changes a signed job.
The template is a starting point for a fence or deck job, not legal advice. Fill in the [brackets] and have whoever handles your legal paperwork read it before you use it.

Already have a contract? Upload it. It's linked on every estimate and attached when you email one.
Crew GPS tracking
Only while someone is clocked in — never off the clock.
Shop TV
Put the schedule on a TV in the shop. It updates itself every minute and never shows prices or money — the crew watch it.
Connect a TV: on the TV's web browser go to app.jobnerve.com/tv. It shows a code — type it here.

The link does the same as a code — handy on a computer. Anyone with it can see the board, so treat it like a key. New link disconnects every TV (connect them again with a code); Turn off blanks them all.
